Hand Job Nails is a one-chair nail studio specializing in Gel and Gel-X. The visual identity system had to match that energy that the name brings and still make it clear the work is licensed and precise.

The wordmark is minimal, lowercase, heavy, with mid-century modern sparkles tucked between the words. The script tagline provides a playful wink, keeping inline with the play on words the brand is rooted in. The HJN monogram keeps the brand recognizable down to favicon size.

Six bright colors keeps every surface lively without tipping into busy. Deliverables included the logo, the color pairings, the type, a kit of marks and patterns, and a voice built to sound like a friend rather than a brochure.
